Goldfield, a former mining town/now touristy ghost town
In Tortilla Flat: Look closely...this restaurant's wallpaper is 100% one-dollar bills! (supposedly $180,000 we heard)
While at the Roosevelt Dam, a rather old gentleman was staring at the dam and told us that his dad worked on the original dam in 1906! The man was around 90 himself and it was neat to talk to him.
We were using an Arizona daytrip book I had gotten for Christmas from a friend. It mentioned the Mormon Temple in Mesa so we stopped by on the way back from Apache Junction. (Not quite as impressive as others we've seen but it was interesting to see.)
