Update on promotions

The second place called today for a 2nd interview! It is tomorrow (Friday) at 10am.

It is uncommon for them to request a 2nd interview which could mean they had a lot of qualified candidates. Everyone we've talked to that has got promoted to this position had only one interview so this is very different! But it is a blessing that he is to the final round. He also had to do another essay question. (in addition to the laborious application packet that had close to a dozen essays.)

Walt said that based on things said in the interviews, he was the first one to apply for the second place but the last person for the first place. The first place made their decision a couple days after Walt's interview but there are so many levels of national approval that he has to wait for to find out.

This second interview will by no means speed up the process for the second place...just resets the clock for this location on our side because we know they haven't even made a decision!

As of tomorrow, our wait will be set back to zero for the second one and 5 weeks for the first one.
