Walt came home today after being in D.C. all week. We were blessed to have some of his travel per diem left so we went out to Famous Dave's (BBQ) for dinner. We have missed it so much! They are all over the nation including Omaha but not in Dallas! (closest is El Paso.) The closest location here is not too far from us...20 minutes.
We went online to check where our closest Culver's was to us (Our other favorite chain in Omaha) Suburbs around Dallas have Culver's but not convenient access to us.) Anyway, we knew there were two in the Phoenix area and I pulled it up and there is a third one coming soon...guess where??? Our suburb!!!! YAY!!!! Every week gets even better!
As far as good Phoenix eats, we're trying not to eat out too much and the only we love so far is In 'N Out Burger which we fell in love with 4 years ago in Vegas...the closest one is near the Famous Daves, about 20 minutes away.
This afternoon, we had a wonderful time at the design center for the house. Our free money went farther than we thought it would! Praise God! We have a relaxing weekend planned! What are your weekend plans?
